AAC Membership Survey Regarding ECO Canada Environmental Auditor Certification Designation Changes

In August and September 2010, the AAC conducted a survey of its membership regarding changes to certification designations that were announced by ECO Canada. This information briefing provides an overview of the process and the background that led to the conduct of the survey. The survey results themselves have been made available to Members only, but any interested party that wishes to discuss the survey results or the ECO Canada certification changes is encouraged to contact the undersigned representatives of the AAC.

The AAC presents the 2010 Update to our Strategic Plan.

As part of the strategic planning process, the Board of Directors can initiate a review and update of the Strategic Plan. Although we are satisfied with the progress we are making, there is still more we want to offer our members. In the revised plan we have outlined our mission, objectives and tasks to clearly outline our expectations going forward.

New Incoming AAC President

For the past two years Colin Duerden has been the AAC (formerly CEAA) President. Colin has brought enormous energy, enthusiasm and strong leadership to the organization. Colin has overseen the new structure of AAC, the incorporated name change, implementation of the CHSMSA certification program, updates to the strategic plan, development of the new website, enhanced involvement by our members of the Board, and many more successes. Any one of these achievements would have been significant but the collective value of all of these activities has been very important to AAC.
