Information update on the 2009 Conference, 2008 Annual General Meeting and membership dues.

2009 AAC Conference - Ottawa - May 25-27, 2009

The 2009 AAC Conference will be held in Ottawa; Monday, May 25 to Tuesday, May 26, with workshops on Wednesday, May 27. The 2009 conference replaces the postponed October conference and is the perfect reason to visit our nation's capital at this beautiful time of the year. We will use the Lord Elgin hotel for the workshops and accommodation, and the National Arts Centre for the plenary sessions and 2009 AGM. The results of the recent AAC Membersip and Conference Survey were instrumental in deciding the new time of year, and are being used to upgrade the 2009 conference to better serve members' needs. We will keep you updated on the AAC website and through regular emails.

2008 Annual General Meeting

The 2008 AGM will be conducted on-line in mid-January. This meeting was originally to be held in conjunction with the Ottawa conference. Details will follow after the Christmas break.

2009 Annual Membership Dues and CHSMSA Maintenance Dues

Invoices for AAC 2009 annual dues and maintenance fees for CHSMSA auditors will be sent out early January. The process will employ the new AAC website and an on-line payment feature. If anyone specifically needs to pay their dues in 2008 (and maintenance fees if relevant), please let us know at: admin@auditingcanada.com as soon as possible.

Holiday Office Closure

The AAC offices will be closed for December 22-28 for the holidays. Please call or email if you require urgent assistance.
