New Incoming AAC President

For the past two years Colin Duerden has been the AAC (formerly CEAA) President. Colin has brought enormous energy, enthusiasm and strong leadership to the organization. Colin has overseen the new structure of AAC, the incorporated name change, implementation of the CHSMSA certification program, updates to the strategic plan, development of the new website, enhanced involvement by our members of the Board, and many more successes. Any one of these achievements would have been significant but the collective value of all of these activities has been very important to AAC.

Colin’s term ends at the 2008 AGM and we will have a new President – Jean-Pierre Fry. Jean-Pierre has served many roles on our Board and Management Committee and is looking forward to “taking over the reins” and leading AAC forward. He foresees the need to sustain and even enhance some of our recent initiatives, but also to advance several of the planned activities in both external relations and membership services. As an organization with a new focus, he sees AAC providing even more and better services to our members, and furthering our mission and vision.
