Draft version of revised ISO 19011 now available – your comments needed by Sept 13th

The Chair of the Canadian Advisory Committee Sub-Committee 2 (the ISO committee that deals with auditing) has requested the AAC to make the new Draft International Standard (DIS) of ISO 19011 "Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems" available to our membership for review and comment. 

The key change in this DIS is that the focus and intended use of the DIS has been broadened from auditing of Quality and Environmental management systems to basically include all management systems, in particular, Health and Safety.

You can access the revised ISO 19011 Standard by clicking on the hyperlink above. If you wish to submit your comments on the draft of this standard, you can do so by using the DIS 19011 Comment Template (so they can be easily incorporated in a summarized response) by September 13, 2010. On the template please indicate your name and/or organization in Column #1, then complete Columns 2,3,5 and 6. Email your completed comment form to admin@auditingcanada.com.
